About my piece:
This is an animation of a snake hitting its body/tail. I made this in Adobe Animate, because I wasn't able to figure out how to create frames in Photoshop without the need to create new layers.
In this timeline panel screenshot below the GIF, there are two layers. The bottom layer is used to sketch the snake, and the top layer is used as an inking layer to clean up the lines of the sketch layer. I went with pose to pose to draw the snake's movement. It's basically drawing a few key poses of the motion, then filling in in-between frames between these key frames. This allows me to have a greater control of how the snake will move.
I don't really have much opinion on the piece itself, though it is pretty cool to be able to show my animation skills that I've developed in my free time.
