Summer Spread

I had fun designing the summer spread.  Designing the main package, I took the dominant photo and had their heads interact with the main headline, but had Brendan's elbows cross over the pink box that was the main copy.  I thought the pull-out quote fit nicely tucked in between the Brendan and photo package. I included a small block of quotes that led in nicely to our folio on the side as an all coverage device that I wanted to include in the reference section. Fernando's story fit nicely between the main package and the mod I placed on the side. I just used reader entry points of color to draw readers into each section of this story.
