Speciality Profile

Throughout our book, we were include eight specialty profile spreads to highlight unique stories that connected certain subjects. With this spread, the teacher and two students all enjoyed performing. After looking at all of the photos, I made the teacher the dominant story and his photo black and white because it nicely could interact with the main headline. I put the main copy in a purpose box toward the side as this allowed me to put an overlapping photo and caption above it. I was also able to tuck the pull-out quote around the edge of the dominant photo. With the other two stories, I put them in different colored boxes to emphasize that they were different. With Katelyn's story, I took one of her photos and made it a full cutout and placed it at the end of the story while I placed the other photo on the opposite side to balance it. With Jayla's story, I wanted the photo to overlap the pink box to keep that element still within the package since there was only one phot.
