Front Endsheet

With the front endsheet, I wanted the verbal theme statement to stand out so I made it just as large as the cover and had it interact with a subject partially cutout. I like how these two freshmen could sit within the "A" and basically tell the reader to turn the page and find out more. With the table of contents, I put it on a green block with the numbers in black boxes, very similar to how I put the volume number on the spine and how I placed numbers in folios throughout the book.  Here, I also wanted to introduce the big pull-out quote that would appear throughout the book and tucked it underneath the photo package and captions.
