Made Of Stars

I am reminded

I am made of stardust

Of pure radiance

And light

My body’s imperfections

Are planetary design

And these scars, and this body

Is a reminder I’m divine

My insecurity is my only flaw

As everyone gazes at me

It isn’t in disgust but in awe

My love for myself is my own written law

In regards to those words of daggers

I turn up my nose

Because in my heart of hearts

I know what truly matters
