Click, click, click

Tick, tick, tick

The minute hand passes the 0 minute mark

And the hour hand moves to 3 o'clock

The session is finally over

Prebuscents going away

Back to their cottages

To enjoy the bright day 

As the damp winter night sky started

The translucent snow pitters on the ground

Freezing the concrete solid shut

While school comes to an end

The monotone clicking of the desk

Switched to the thunk of the sled

Is a nice way to enjoy the year’s end

Slurping the hot chocolate

Adding the marshmallows

The steam seeping through the atmosphere

With my buddies

Is a way to enjoy the new year

Right around the bend
