In this project students will use the schoolyard green garden as a classroom, reconnecting themselves with the natural world and the true source of their food. They will learn valuable gardening and agriculture concepts and skills that integrate with several subjects, including personal and social responsibility.

They will implement/organize their school green garden in an active and motivating way (scientific method-problem solving and cooperative learning approaches applied with playful collaborative activities.), following an agreed calendar of activities.

For each phase there will be theoretical classroom/laboratory learning and then its hand-on application, with preparation, planting and harvesting activities.

Students and teachers of the partnered schools will develop the activities together, sharing the results attained in progress with padlets, minibooks, webminars, while developing also linguistic, ICT and disciplinary skills.
