THANK YOU to everyone who wore blue on October 7 in honor of World Day of Bullying Prevention!
On this day students, schools, and communities all over the world go BLUE together against bullying. It kicks off National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month every October.
Week of October 21st - INCLUSION Week
· Don't let anyone at school eat alone in the cafeteria or on a school field trip. Make it the week of #NOONEEATSALONE
· Include other students in school activities
· Include other students in after school activities
· Invite someone you don't know that well to sit next to you on the bus.
· At one point or another each of us has felt insecure, or stressed out, or alone. It is important to remind our friends and classmates that we are all in it together and we are there to listen and support each other. Use the hashtag #HereForYou on social media to let your classmates know that they have your support and a person to reach out to if they ever need to talk.
October 23 – Unity Day
Together against bullying. U-Knighted for kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Come together in one giant ORANGE message of hope and support, WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE to color our nation, and even the world, visibly showing that our society believes that no child should ever experience bullying.
See our brief video of the students and staff singing "We are the World" to come together in support against bullying" : U-Knighted Against Bullying Video

On top of our numerous college and military lunch visits, Mrs. Pope is available to assist students with College applications and questions. Students can go during their lunch and/or off periods to receive help in getting applications completed. Please encourage your student to go meet and visit with Mrs. Pope, so that she can help direct them in their post graduation plans. Stop by to schedule a visit!
