Presentations/Projects

Have students collaborate on projects together.... Have them learn content and become the teachers by presenting to the class. There are so many online tools that facilitate both of these avenues for learning.

  • Have students collaborate on a project together and require them to create a website in order to present content using wikis like Google Sites, WetPaint, or Square Space.
  • Want students to present in class? Don't know if they have PowerPoint? Have them use a free tool like Prezi or Google Slides.
  • Do you have students do collages or poster presentations? Have them use an online collage tool like Glogster!
  • Need a multimodal way to present content, media and writing that has an order or chronology? Try an online "timeline" tool like Sutori or TimeToast
  • Need students to find media and images to convey a message? have them create a movie-traileresque presentation using a tool like Animoto
  • Collaboration happens in Google Applications! From getting a group together, to sharing ideas within a document, to creating a website withing Google Sites or a presentation using the presentation tool in Google Docs.
