What Technologies Help with CATs?

  • Minute Paper: After every virtual and face-to-face class, have every student use a blog (Blogger or WordPress) or video (Adobe Spark) to reflect on their learning. What is the most important thing they learned today?
  • Application Cards: After every virtual and face-to-face class, have students use Twitter to apply a concept they learned about in class to a real-life situation. They must type this application in 280 words or less (character limitations in Twitter.)
  • One Sentence Summary can also be performed using Twitter.
  • Muddiest Point: Create a survey using Google Forms or do an instantaneous, anonymous, in-class poll using PollEverywhere.
