World Languages are an important part of our vision here at Scituate. Current offerings are in Spanish and French. Students are introduced to both languages in grades 6 and 7. They will then choose either of the languages as an 8th grader and at the high school level. Spanish or French Full year courses at the middle school count towards fullfilling graduation requirements as long as the student takes Spanish or French II as freshment at the high school.

The World Language Department is working on rewriting the curriculum and the Overview documents. Stay tuned.
