Starting in 2023, the Scituate Middle School has differentiated and intentional "What I Need (WIN)" blocks of instruction. Students are placed in WIN classes based on how they perform on universal screening tool (STAR). If students are identified as needing math or reading interventions they are placed in WIN Math or WIN Reading. Those who do not need math or reading help, are placed in Enrichment courses that builds on the STEAM or Unified Arts courses. Below are a list of the Enrichment courses that are offered:

Grade 6:

• Using Google Suite

• Energy and Environment Enrichment

• Cultures: Spanish

• Art

Grade 7:

• Digial Media Literacy

• Automation and Roborics Enrichment

• Cultures: French

• Art

Grade 8:

• Artificial Intelligence

• Medical Detectives (PLTW) Gateway

• Art

• Or: Full Year Spanish/French
