Social Studies standards are were recently released and can be found here. RI schools are expected to adopt a HQCM and implement the new standards by 2026-27 school year. 

Elementary and middle level intentionally chose units of study in American Reading Company that were inclusive of content from developmentally appropriate social studies topics.

Scituate High School utilizes a locally developed curriculum.

We have started our search for curriculum that meets the requirements and additionally is aligned to our students' interests.
