SSD has adopted High Quality Curriculum Material in ELA in all levels (K-12). As with any other curriculum material, instruction needs to be differentiated and supplemented to meet the needs of all learners.

• Grades K-8: American Reading Company (Grades K-2: Supplement Curriculum with Heggerty for Phonics and Phonemic Awareness)

• Grades 9-12: Springboard
