Veretos is a parliamentary republic located just east of Cordona in the northern central part of Toltecan. It is made up of two main islands and a smattering of smaller cays, with the capital city of Monbarra located on the main western island. Veretos relies most heavily on tourism for its profit, as thousands of visitors flock to its sandy shores each year. It lacks many other major industries but is supported by its strong trade connections with Khulna, its formal colonial owner until independence approximately 100 years ago.

Jacendo Ile
The primary island of Veretos, Jacendo Ile features the capital Monbarra, a small city catering to incoming tourists and cruise ships. Most of the island is mountainous, resulting in spectacular views of its many hidden coves and beaches. Infrastructure on the island outside the main tourist regions is poor, creating a dichotomy between locals who live there and the richer foreigners who live and work around the tourist regions and control many of the companies that turn a major profit for Veretos. It can often be difficult to keep that money within the nation, though.
Haribaro Ile
Another major island in Veretos is a sparsely populated island featuring a volcano that last erupted in 1996. Most of the island has been set aside as a national park to prevent the development and attract tourists. Rumor has it, though, that the national park designation was created to drive the indigenous population off their lands and integrate them into mainstream Veretos society.

A população valoriza muito sua cultura local e ancestral. Sua visão e estilo de vida se baseia no fato de que ela se entende como parte da natureza. Veretos possui uma vida cultural muito viva e ativa, que se expressa através de inúmeros festivais artísticos, culturais e esportivos que reforçam os laços sociais entre os seus habitantes com os turistas que os visitam.
As pessoas são hospitaleiras, uma vez que a maior fonte de renda do país é o turismo, a educação e a hospitalidade com o turista é levado extremamente a sério.
Nas escolas são ensinados vários idiomas, além da língua local que vem dos povos nativos.
O povo matriz de Veretos é uma ramificação cultural dos minangkabau, povo conhecido por ser o maior grupo etnico matriarcal do mundo.
O motivo da migração para a região de Veretos foi principalmente para a extensão do território e pela influência de outros tipos de regime, que geraram divergências na crença de como reger uma nação, com isso Veretos foi a região onde a raiz matriarcal se manteve.
Os minangkabau foram eficientes mineradores, agricultores, e comerciantes e ótimos em arroz irrigado, tabaco e canela, além de frutas e legumes.

The matrix people of Veretos are a cultural offshoot of the Minangkabau, a people known for being the largest matriarchal ethnic group in the world.

É um dos poucos países no mundo em que a cannabis é legalizada estando vinculado à cultura nacional - o que também atrai turistas por permitir o livre consumo, produção e comércio em espaços públicos regulamentado pela legislação nacional.
O governo do país permite que o excedente da produção agrícola e da pesca seja exportado.
Seu terreno vulcânico faz com que Jacendo seja grande produtora de brita para construção civil.
