This country's size gives it regions which vary significantly in their contributions to Dayoca's economy and local culture. Ranging from primeval forest to overdeveloped megapolises, Dayoca is a land of many contrasts.

Kaluete River Basin
The Kaluete River flows through the largest rain forest on the planet. The region has always featured a distinct tension between traditionalism and modernity. A few major cities are scattered through thick forests that often bring disease to the city dwellers. The rest is "owned" by the indigenous people who are scattered throughout the region. The tension became quite violent during the construction of hydroelectric dams to power the growing jungle cities, leaving much traditional land flooded. The porous border between the Kaluete Reservation in Mirizal is of no concern to the indigenous people who consider the entire region their traditional lands. However, it creates a lot of tension for a government that wants to control its borders. The rain forest is threatened by increasingly brazen miners who are plundering mineral deposits in the forest and leaving mine waste behind, and cattle farmers burning the rain forest to clear it for cattle grazing and more productive farming.

Dayoca é um país com uma população formada por várias etnias, composta por pessoas brancas, indígenas e negras. Essa diversidade é proveniente de sua história de migrações. É ainda, em grande parte, uma nação conservadora, mas que já fez muitos progressos na forma de políticas mais inclusivas. A liberdade e a união são muito valorizadas pela sociedade, de modo que nenhum movimento opressor ou separatista é tolerado.
Dayoca é predominantemente agrária e, portanto, muito influenciada pelos interesses do agronegócio, dominado por uma elite branca muito rica, que está sempre em conflito com as populações indígenas. Dayoca is a country with a population made up of several ethnicities, composed of white, indigenous and black people. This diversity comes from their migration history. It is still largely a conservative nation, but it has already made a lot of progress in the form of more inclusive policies. Freedom and unity are highly valued by society, so no oppressive or separatist movement is tolerated.
Dayoca is predominantly agrarian and therefore heavily influenced by the interests of agribusiness, dominated by a very wealthy white elite, which is always in conflict with indigenous populations. At the same time, this is gradually changing, through the implementation of more ecological and responsible agricultural practices.
No passado, Mirizal explorou os recursos naturais e o povo dayoquiano, de modo a enriquecer o país vizinho. No entanto, com organização popular, os dayoquianos conseguiram reverter a situação na Revolução Libertária de Dayoca.
Atualmente, Dayoca busca ter boas relações com todas as nações do mundo. Contudo, Mirizal vem, ultimamente e continuamente, desrespeitando a soberania nacional de Dayoca e nos insultando no debate internacional, propagando mentiras acerca de nosso passado, afirmando, por exemplo, que há um “centro de inteligência” em Dayoca incumbido de desestabilizar o verdismo em Mirizal, o que não procede. In the past, Mirizal exploited the natural resources and the Dayoquian people in order to enrich the neighboring country. However, with popular organization, the Dayoquians managed to reverse the situation in the Libertarian Revolution of Dayoca.
Currently, Dayoca seeks to have good relations with all the nations of the world. However, Mirizal has lately and continuously been disrespecting Dayoca's national sovereignty and insulting us in the international debate, propagating lies about our past, claiming, for example, that there is an "intelligence center" in Dayoca charged with destabilizing "verdismo" in Mirizal, which is not correct. Our republic tries, through dialogue and diplomacy, to always bring the truth to the surface, demanding respect for the sovereignty of all nations and the self-determination of peoples.

Temos uma Secretaria de Gerenciamento de Riscos, vinculada ao Ministério do Planejamento, que conta com a participação de representantes de todas as regiões do país, atendendo às particularidades de cada lugar, além da participação da população, bem como dos povos tradicionais e de profissionais como planejadores, geólogos e geógrafos, dentre outros. A referida Secretaria criou um Plano Nacional de Prevenção e Gerenciamento de Riscos que orienta o governo nacional, mas também os governos locais, na identificação, prevenção e mitigação de riscos.
Cientes do recente tsunami que abalou Toltecan, nós nos colocamos à disposição das nações amigas afetadas direta ou indiretamente pelo desastre, prontificando-nos no auxílio financeiro e humanitário para compensar os danos.

We have a Risk Management Secretariat, linked to the Ministry of Planning, which has the participation of representatives from all regions of the country, taking into account the particularities of each place, in addition to the participation of the population, as well as traditional peoples and professionals such as planners, geologists and geographers, among others. Aware of the recent tsunami that shook Toltecan, we put ourselves at the disposal of friendly nations directly or indirectly affected by the disaster, offering financial and humanitarian assistance to compensate for the damage.

Dayoca is aware of the serious risks to Toltecan nations caused by climate change. Therefore, our country has been working to protect our people, especially the coastal and riverine population, which are more vulnerable to the effects of global warming.
