Salute to Music, also known as Borough Wide, is a Saturday music program that pulls together students (grades 4-8) from all over the city. The programs culminate in performances throughout the year.
Salute to Music is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, play new music, work with new musical directors, and meet new friends!
Rehearsals are scheduled every Saturday, from October through June, from 8:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., at designated rehearsal locations throughout the five boroughs.
The Queens Concert Band rehearses at JHS 190 Russel Sage Middle School in Forest Hills. (one stop on the E train).

The All-City Music, is a Saturday music program that pulls together students (grades 9-12) from all over the city.
All-City is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, play new music, work with new musical directors, and meet new friends!
All-City is also a great option if you your high school doesn't have an ensemble like these.
Rehearsals are every Saturday from September through May and each ensemble performs at least 2 concerts per year.
Participation in an ensemble will earn you 1 music credit that will appear on your official high school transcript.
All ensembles enjoy partnerships with major arts institutions, including: The New York Philharmonic, New York Pops, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Metropolitan Opera, and more.
Auditions will be in early June Talent Unlimited High School. No appointment required, students will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

A Summer Arts Program Held at Frank Sinatra School for the Arts that runs through July.
"Through SAI, students develop and improve their technical skills and creative expression in their art form. Time is dedicated to rehearsals, attending professional performances, visiting arts venues, and exploring careers.
