What instruments are taught at I.S. 230?
Woodwinds: Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet*, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone*, Baritone Saxophone*
Brass: Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone/Euphonium, Tuba
Percussion: Students who study percussion will learn both Snare Drum and Xylophone.
*7th and 8th grade only
Note: Piano and string instruments, like Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass, are not offered.
