Drawing the Head

The red lines are the guidelines you will create when creating the front view of the face.

Draw the guidelines lightly with your pencil.

1. Begin with a rough circle, which will fit the nose and eyes.

   1. Draw a vertical line to show the center of the face.

   2. Draw a horizontal line through the circle for the eye

   3. Then draw another horizontal line for the tip (end) of the nose.

2. Begin drawing the nose first. This helps to see the center of the face.

   1. Draw the bridge of the nose . This will assist you in aligning the first eye

   2. Draw the eye along the center of the horizontal line

3. Use the edge of the iris of the eyes to find the width of the mouth

4. Use the corners of the mouth to find where the jawline

5. The ears be must aligned between the eyes and the nose.
