Perspective

Perspective: Drawing Backgrounds and Other Objects in Space

Perspective:

It is an art technique for drawing objects that look three-dimensional.

Perspective is also used to show objects closeup or in the distance to show space.

Three components for drawing drawing in perspective:

Horizon line: It is where the Earth and the Sky appear to meet in the extreme distance.

Vanishing point: They are precise spots at which the parallel lines in space converge together at a distance

Eye-level: It is the height and orientation of our eyes of how we see the subject.

If you are seated, your eye level will be lower than if you were standing. It would be different again if you were on a platform above.

There are three different kinds of Perspective techniques.

1-point perspective

2-point perspective

3-point perspective
