MUSIC ASSIGNMENT & EMAILING PROCEDURES

• When Emailing Mrs. Petersen, please include Students' First & Last name and Homeroom Teacher or Class Code (8A, 8B, or 8C).

• All assignments are completed in class UNLESS students do not finish them by the due date.  No class time will be given to complete assignments beyond the due date.  

• If students are absent, assignments missed in that class are typically excused UNLESS students are working on a project.  It is always a good idea to ask Mrs. Petersen what you missed if you are absent.

• Assignments not turned in by the due date will be marked as MISSING and a "zero" in PowerSchool until they are turned in.  If you turn in an assignment late, please email Mrs. Petersen to let her know you turned it in.

  • • • Paper Assignments go in the FINISHED WORK bin in the Music Classroom

      • Digital Assignments should be submitted to Google Classroom

      • Do not email assignments to Mrs. Petersen or set paperwork on her desk

• Please understand that Mrs. Petersen teaches all K-8 grade levels and grades will be updated in PowerSchool as soon as they are finished being graded.  You can always email to check on the status of a grade.  Thank you for your patience.

CURRENT T3 UNIT: Music Industry Careers

Students will have the following assignments.  Please check in with Mrs. Petersen if you are absent so you know what needs to be made up & what can be excused:

• 3 Exit Tickets (Classwork Only)

• Career Research Project (Worksheet & Paragraph)

• Spoken Presentation (Explaining your Career to classmates)

• Notes from other Career Presentations (Classwork Only)

• Jeopardy Game Participation (Classwork Only)
