Happy T3! You already have three grades "in the books."

We have a full week with minimal interruptions, and we are going to make the best of it!

Shortly after the end of the second trimester, NJHS Applications will be given to select 6th and 7th-grade students.
The criteria for receiving an invitation to NJHS are:
having an average of 93% and above in their five core classes (ELA, math, social studies, science, and religion)
having a positive behavior record. Students with ten or more infractions will not be considered for joining this year. Students with fewer than ten but more than five infractions will be considered but undergo additional vetting processes.
Receiving an invitation to NJHS is just the beginning of our selection process. At this point, students will be required to do the following:
Join our Applicant Google Classroom
Write a paragraph
Return the application form
Answer a Google Form
Write an essay
Sit for an interview with our panel
This may seem like a lot of steps, but it is important to maintain the integrity of this organization by selecting only the most worthy candidates.
On Asynchronous Learning Days, we're here to help! Send an email, and we will help clarify the assignment or point you to any resources you may have overlooked. We want these learning days to be successful for YOU! The Sixth-Grade Team: Students may click the schedule link as they may find this schedule helpful.
