language Arts: ELA worksheet, due 12/5

(Students should grab the weekly ELA homework in their classroom.)

• Practice spelling Fundations words and marking them up

• Read Aloud for 15 minutes each night. Talk about it!

JESSE TREE ORNAMENT: DUE 12/3

Information and bible character went home before thanksgiving!

Jesse Tree Ornament:

• Your child is being asked to symbolize a specific part of the bible to represent Jesus' ancestry.  Please help your child base their ornament on the attached picture and bible verse.  Any materials you have around the house may be used – cotton balls, popsicle sticks, yarn, ribbon, foam board, material scraps, glitter, straws, pipe cleaners, bark, dust bunnies, etc.  Don’t buy anything, be creative!  However, keep in mind that it will be hanging on a bulletin board so it should be light and no larger than a small index card (3x5).   The child should create the ornament! Ornaments are due Wednesday, December 3rd!   Have fun!  We will present these during religion class!
