Advisory Program

Advisory is a time for discussing important issues and helping students become invested in doing their part to create a strong, vibrant, healthy school community where they can flourish. During secondary, students hone their talents and often develop lifelong hobbies, interests, and skills.

The Advisory Program provides support to students in all aspects of their school experience through direct student support ensuring that at least one adult in the school is getting to know each student well, making sure their learning needs are being met, and encouraging them to make good academic choices and plan for their future.

Please contact Mrs. Clara Fernandez (cfernandez@sccs.edu.bo) or Mr. Jacob Schnall (jschnall@sccs.edu.bo) if you have any questions related to the Advisory Program.

Monthly Themes

Each advisory group is unique and will be run differently depending on the advisor, but there are also monthly themes that we encourage each advisor/group to explore and implement using the activities within each icon below.  These themes will allows us to develop a more compassionate, understanding community.
