District Policies
The Board of Education maintains policies that govern the operation of the school district. While all are important to the efficient and effective operation of the school district, and fulfillment of the district's mission, the following are critical to be aware of upon entry to the district. Please review each policy, and address immediate questions to your supervisor, mentor, or other building or district administrator.

Technology Responsible Use Policy (note- NEW AS OF April, 2018)
Eligibility of Children of Employees to Attend Scarsdale Schools- Staff members who wish to have their children attend the Scarsdale Public Schools should call the Registrar at 914/721-2444 to request or renew an application. Staff members may designate which school they prefer to have their children attend. However, at the elementary level, the inclusion of staff children is based on available space and children are subject to being moved from one elementary school to another school, if their enrollment in a class would exceed class size policy. You will be notified if your selection of an elementary school can be accommodated, and if not, where your child would be placed.
