Family Registration Support

Hi! I’m Safia Haji, the Program Assistant for Multilingual Communication and Family Support with School’s Out!

My role is all about building strong, culturally responsive connections between families and the afterschool program. I support families in understanding registration, policies, and procedures and I help school staff communicate more effectively across language and cultural differences. 

I’m passionate about making sure all families feel seen, supported, and informed – no matter what language they speak or where they come from. Outside of work, I am a mom of four, wife, and a small business owner as a henna artist. I love using the art of henna to build healing spaces in my community. I’m so excited to connect with you this school year!
