2026 Summer Camp Information
For students currently in Kindergarten - 3rd grade
we offer a Day Camp!
These camps will be held at Rick Marcotte Central School and Orchard Elementary School. These camps are led by our Program Directors and take part in 2-3 field trips each week.
Camp Hours: 8:00 am-5:30 pm
Camp Cost: $285/week
For students currently in 4th grade - 8th grade
we offer a variety of TREK Camps!
School’s Out will be once again offering TREK Camps for our students entering 5th grade and up. TREK Camps (Travel, Recreation, Experience, and Knowledge) are interest-based, week-long day camps featuring many full-day field trips and activities focused on a central theme. Children will receive some free time and off-topic recreation, but the primary theme of the camp will be consistent throughout the week. The camps will be held at Frederick H Tuttle Middle School and led by Enrichment Directors.
Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Before and After Care is offered from 8:00-9:00 am and 4:00-5:00 pm.
Camp Cost: $350/week. Before and After Care is an additional fee.

Summer planning is well underway, and we are looking forward to an action-packed, fun-filled summer!
DATES: June 22 - Aug 7 (closed July 3)
HOURS: K-3rd grade 8:00 - 5:30 & TREK 4th-8th grade 8:00 - 5:00
GRADES: Currently in K-8th grade
Day Camp is for children currently in Kindergarten - 3rd grade.
DAY CAMP COSTS: $285/week, $280/week for sibling
TREK Camp is for children currently in 4th - 8th grade.
TREK CAMP COSTS: $350/week, $345/week for sibling
A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT PER CHILD, PER WEEK, is due upon acceptance into camp. Checks can be mailed to "School's Out, 1025 Airport Drive, South Burlington, VT. 05403", paid through the Playground Parent Portal. If you are signed up for auto-pay, the deposit will be deducted from your account on the next auto-pay date (unless you submit another form of payment before that date). If your family receives full funding from the state, then no deposit is due. Those receiving subsidies of 50% or more need not pay a deposit. Those receiving less than 50% subsidy should submit a $25 deposit per child/week.
You will receive confirmation within two weeks of enrollment. Once a camp reaches the limit, we will add names to a waitlist. Your enrollment is not confirmed until you have received an email of Acceptance AND the deposit is paid.
Cancellation Policy: Families giving less than a two-week notice of withdrawal will be required to pay the tuition in full. Notifications of withdrawal can be emailed to athomson@sbschools.net. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable (cannot be applied to other tuition or fees).
