The Duration of Student exchange program = 1 Semester (in Semester 7 or Semester 8) and only for Regular Students.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS 

(FOR REGULAR CLASS STUDENTS)

EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN SEMESTER 7 & 8

1. Has completed the Second Year at SBM with a minimum of 96 SKS 

2. Cumulative GPA: 3.00 or higher

3. TOEFL of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT), 80 (IBT) or higher, IELTS of 6.0 or higher, or as required score by Partner University chosen

IMPORTANT!!

Make sure that you know these information:

1. If your NR in the previous semester (Semester 6) before you leave for exchange program:
   > 3.00, you can take maximum credit of 22 SKS in Semester 8
   > 3.50, you can take  maximum credit of 24 SKS in Semester 8
   Different circumstances for students who join exchange program in semester 8.
   Contact your Academic Advisor regarding this matter. 

2. The tuition fee at Partner University will be waived, students need to register 0 (zero) SKS at home University (SBM ITB) and pay the amount of tuition fee (50% of UKT) to ITB for the Semester you are at partner university. 

3. If you choose a university partner where you must pay tuition fee at Host University, you will need to send us the proof of payment to the University partner and your UKT at SBM will be waived. 

4. At the time you return to SBM ITB, all the credit taken at Partner University will be transferred to SKS, with maximum credit taken is 24 SKS (36 ECTS) under certain circumstances. 

5. If at the end of Semester 9, your total credits (SBM credits and exchange credits) are less than 144 SKS, you will have to extend your study at SBM ITB. 

COURSES APPROVAL

FOR REGULAR & IE STUDENTS WITH EXCHANGE PROGRAM 

The procedure for Courses Approval: 

1. Before the exchange begins, Student must send the list of courses and its syllabus to Dosen wali, along with the Learning Agreement Form. 

2. After Dosen wali approved and signed the LoA, student must send the file to Admin Prodi by the Form below.

STUDY PLAN FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS (REGULAR CLASS)

FOR STUDENTS WHO WILL BE JOINING EXCHANGE IN SEMESTER 7 OR SEMESTER 8

MANDATORY COURSES SHOULD BE TAKEN BEFORE OR AFTER THE EXCHANGE PROGRAM:

1. Agama dan Etika --> students who follow exchange program must take this course before or after the exchange program outside Prodi.

2. Pancasila & Kewarganegaraan --> students who follow exchange program must take this course before or after the exchange program outside Prodi.

3. Courses outside Prodi --> minimum 6 SKS and maximum 9 SKS. Students can take the courses in semester before or after the exchange program. 

Students are encourage to discuss the plan with your Academic Advisor (Dosen wali). Make sure that you have fulfilled the Compulsory courses (semester 1 - 6) before your exchange begins. 

FOR STUDENTS WHO WILL BE JOINING EXCHANGE IN SEMESTER 8

Since your academic transcript from University Partner will be received by the study Program around August-September. Please remember that your final defense will be scheduled after we can confirmed your final passed credits. You must fulfill a minimum requirement of 144 SKS including Kolokium, Skripsi and your exchange credits.
