Social Diversity Awareness is an essential skill for building respectful, inclusive environments in school, work, and life. This module helps students recognize and value internal and external diversity, understand how diverse roles and experiences enrich the workplace, and advocate for equity through inclusive behaviors and communication. By integrating the SBCSS Employability Skills into the classroom, educators empower students to embrace their identities, connect across cultures, and contribute to a welcoming and effective team environment.
Aligned to California’s Career Ready Practices, this content supports students in developing cultural competence, self-awareness, and collaboration through interactive presentations, reflective journaling, and real-world scenarios.
