Henry Jones

Moose Project Leader for the NH Fish and Game

Henry Jones is the Moose Project Leader for the NH Fish and Game Department which involves leading the State's efforts to conserve and manage moose so this resource is sustained, while allowing for recreational opportunity when compatible. This work involves guiding and conducting surveys to collect biological data, communicating with the public about the status of moose, and understanding social perceptions and desires regarding this species. Henry started as the Moose Project Leader in 2019 and completed a master of science degree at the University of New Hampshire in 2016 on moose research in northern NH.


Mr. Jone's presentation is "How Climate Change is Reducing the Number of Moose New Hampshire can Support Through Winter Tick Parasitism."
