In an effort to minimize confusion, regular student transportation will resume this fall with essentially the same routes and stops as last year. Ridership will be limited to one student per seat and drivers and students will be required to wear masks for the duration of the trip. Loading will be from back to front and unloading will be the reverse to limit exposure. Some bus stops and routes may require more than one bus to address the total number of students riding. The bus company will work individually with schools to stagger the arrival of buses and avoid crowding at points of arrival.
The Food Service program will operate kitchens as they normally would in all schools each day for breakfast and lunch to serve students attending in-school. The Middle School and High School cafeterias will provide for daily pick-up of meals for families of students attending school remotely. The elementary schools do not have external entrances that could support pick-up, so elementary school students may choose to pick-up at either Middle School or High School. Information about pick-up protocols will be provided by the Food Service program. Please note that regardless of student grade level, meals picked up at the Middle School or High School will be as published on the daily cafeteria menu of that respective school. Student accounts will be charged accordingly for meals picked up.
