We are happy to announce three new opportunities for childcare:
Seacoast Community School is opening up a morning program at Community Campus for Kindergarten and 1st-grade students that will begin at 7:30 AM. We will provide transportation from that program to each school for the PM K-1 session. Students who require after school care can attend the PEAK program at each school after their PM session. For more information, please contact Jessica Couture at jcouture@seacoastcommunityschool.org
The Seacoast YMCA is opening up programs to help support Portsmouth families on the days when children are unable to go into school. Their team will assist with Zoom sessions and homework, as well as provide lunch and snack time as well as outdoor playtime. This program can also accommodate students in our AM Kindergarten and 1st-grade sessions. We will provide transportation from each elementary school to Camp Gundalow. For more information, please contact Kelli McKenna at kmckenna@graniteymca.org
Through our partnership with the City, we have secured access to the new Senior Center. This facility is available to provide a location for elementary students to access remote instruction on days they are not physically in school. Supervision and mask breaks will be provided throughout the day.
