Special Education

• What does special education look like? What do IEP‘s look like?

Special education services will be implemented based on the student’s current IEP. Services can be provided in person and/or remotely (e.g. if parents have chosen to have a student attend solely remotely, services will be arranged in that manner.) If individual circumstances require discussion of potential IEP changes, a school team may reach out to arrange a meeting and/or a parent can request an IEP team meeting to discuss. The majority of IEP team meetings will continue to be held via Zoom platform for physical distancing/safety, but arrangements can be made for an in-person meeting at the request of a parent.
