Off the bat, I will not be offended fo you skip right to the resources, I get it!
This is the thing I would say I struggle with the most, so if you also struggle with this please know you are not alone. To an extent, this section was kind of hard to put together because this is a large portion of what I am still trying to figure out for myself. That being said I tried to think of what helps me, and what doesn’t and why. I think that sometimes looking into the why of things (when you are not overwhelmed) can give you great insight into what would be good strategies moving forward. So I hope the strategies below work well for you, but if they don’t, I encourage you to not to let go looking elsewhere, and ask around, but to also do a little self reflection. Sometimes running away from things just makes the overwhelm a thousand times worse, and if you can figure out the why behind it, and understand it, you can work on specific things that give you issues. I know it is not easy, but you’ve got this!
Each one of these is a strategy that I (or others) have found helpful in terms of being overwhelmed. By clicking on the photo, you can get my little blurb all about them, and by clicking on the name, you can go right to the website and check it out yourself!
Not all of this has to be read up on in a short amount of time. It can help to take things slow and one at a time. Now, I know if it were me, I would completely ignore this message and just dive straight in, read it all, and probably get overwhelmed (or completely miss it and not read it at all), but you do what works for you! I hope these strategies help you out!
