The overall goal with this website is to give people some resources to help with some of the struggles within school and schoolwork. My main focus with these resources was ADHD and other mental health issues, but that doesn't mean that if you don't have mental health issues or a diagnosis, you can't use these sources.
I put this together because I have always loved school and learning, but throughout high school, specifically junior and senior year, I found that school kept getting way harder than it should have been. I had no idea why it felt like I had to work so insanely hard when my peers were putting in a "normal" amount of work and doing so well. This led me down a rabbit hole of research, videos, and books to try and figure out why.
My hope is that these sources can help you out a bit, even if they are just a starting point for you to look into what would work best for you!
Resources all for helping you out with managing you time, and reducing time related stressors!
Recources for helping you find techniques that work for you for studying, and helping with how you take in your information.
Some little things that may help you out with everyday things, and changing your habits!
Some ways that might make lists and organization a little less overwhelming.
a couple things I have found that help out with being super overwhelmed, that aren't doom scrolling.
things that don't fit into a specific category, that I still felt would be helpful!
I am no longer a student at PHS (yay graduation!) but I would still love to offer my help if I can! If you would like to reach out, feel free to email me at claytonmaisie4@gmail.com! I just ask that the subject line is clear, so I don't miss your email!
And if you don't feel comfortable reaching out to me (which I totally get) there are lots of people at the school who would love to help out. My two suggestions are Ms. Hanson and guidance. Ms. Hanson is amazing, and is really good with helping people figure out what works for them. Guidance is always there for you.
