Local Scholarships are sponsored by local and regional businesses, organizations and families for the express purpose of recognizing the accomplishments of and providing financial assistance to the graduates of Milford High School. The Milford High School community owes these sponsors great thanks and gratitude for the many efforts that go into fundraising for the benefit of our students.

The Student Services office assists with the coordination and processing of scholarship applications. All completed applications will be forwarded to the scholarship sponsors. Questions about the scholarship process should be directed to School Counselors in the Student Services office.

The Local Scholarship process utilizes one common application for most of the scholarships offered. Students are asked to complete this scholarship application via google form. Any scholarship that requires an additional short statement will have an additional google form for submission of the statement. Any scholarships that do not use the common scholarship application will require that students complete a separate google form for each.

The scholarship applications require that your parents write a brief statement about why they feel you are a good candidate to receive a scholarship. This statement must be included in your application before you can submit it (it may be typed into your application or copied & pasted from another source).

Amherst Lions Club is a community service organization. The three main selection criteria for this scholarship are your history of community service, financial need and demonstrated personal growth.
This scholarship sponsor is looking for an applicant who is motivated to make a positive impact on society and its many challenges. Please give careful thought to your essay for this scholarship; only apply if you can provide a very thoughtful essay.
The Jeanne E. Jalbert Memorial Nursing Scholarship is granted on factors of scholastic and community accomplishments, goals in life and financial need.
Applicants must be a graduating senior, have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, and plan to continue their education at a 2 or 4 year post-secondary program. Note: This PDF application need to be downloaded & typed into. You must email your completed Rotary Scholarship application to the email addresses provided within the application & notify us that you have applied so that we can send your transcript. Do not reply to questions with "see attached"; you must complete each section of the application.
The scholarship will not necessarily be awarded to the student in the top percentile of their class but to one who exemplifies Nick’s athletic involvement, artistic abilities and his overall personality. This student should have a desire to better themselves academically and to further their learning through continued education.
