school for a month and then still have 5 ½ weeks
before school starts.

Summer School Plan: Three teachers each teaching a different subject to all grade sections: Reading, Math, and Arts and Crafts. Students will be divided into 3 groups for a 45 minute class. Groups will be grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6 depending on numbers of course. Students will rotate to each of the classes everyday. We might look at doing a theme based curriculum each week. We also need to come up with an attendance policy.

Lesson Structure: Lessons will be structured with differentiated instruction depending on the needs of the groups. With Reading and Math I foresee stations for students to participate in to receive the best explicit instruction they need either lower level intervention to higher level thinking options. These are just some ideas to toss around.
