You only need to attend once per week, but may attend more often if you would like the extra practice. Choose the time and day that works best for your schedule.
Open to all distance learning and hybrid students during their "Asynchronous" time at home. See your regular school band director for the login code for your instrument.

Here's a fun way to practice long tones a bit differently. The following music track uses a descending half-step sequence, but takes you though a "cinematic" journey while playing. What started as a "what if I tried this" moment, actually turned out to work pretty well. These can be done with individuals or groups or even a full ensemble. This gives a great new way to work on some of the basics: air/breath, tone, intonation, pulse, etc. Enjoy!
This warm-up is a long tones exercise for individual or a group or even the full band. It's short and to the point, Do up to Sol (first 5 notes of the scale), down to low Sol and back up to Do (all 8 notes of the scale).These "cinematic" warm ups are designed to engage the listener while performing basic exercises. In addition to working on basic tone production, musicians can practice playing in tune and in time...all in a aurally engaging way.
This video falls into the "Cinematic Series" of warm-ups. It is written to be an interesting soundtrack to practice lip slurs, a great way to change up rehearsal/warm-up/individual practice. The idea of "floating" is specifically to go along with airflow, even and consistent throughout.

This video and music are an accompaniment track for the Foundation Warm-Ups, Set #2. This focuses on the (typical) first seven notes on band instruments. The idea is to give a more interesting application than just a metronome and a drone (which are also fantastic to use).
This is an all-encompassing warmup that you should go through every time you play your instrument. The warmup includes breathing, long tones, lip slurs, and a scale/articulation exercise.

The "fundamentals" of music theory—things like note identification, key signatures, scales, rhythmic notation, time signatures, and more. This can be learned through ear training on your own through books and websites such as musictheory.net.
