Hello Parents, Guardians, Friends, Families and Elementary Artists!

The artwork that you are about to see is a celebration of all of the hard work and dedication that MCS students have put into creating amazing works of art throughout the school year.

We began preparing for this art show in the beginning of February. Elementary artists were asked to organize a portfolio of artworks that they made throughout the school year.

Artists were asked to choose the work of art that they were most proud of to display in this year’s digital art show. When possible, artists were also given the choice to have their picture taken with their artwork.

The works of art that you will see in this art show are a mixture of art projects and skill builders that we worked on together as a class, or works of art created during studio time. You will notice a variety of mediums and subjects throughout each homeroom teacher’s page.

At the bottom of this page there will be a slideshow showcasing pictures that were taken during studio time in the art room. There you will see elementary artists busy creating unique works of art using various mediums, or projects that were not included in the art portfolios.

I am so proud of all of my elementary artists!

Enjoy the art show!

4th grade digital art club

Several 4th grade artists participated in digital art club this school year. 4th grade students were given the opportunity to learn about and explore different ways of creating digital art using their ChromeBooks.

Digital art club members have really enjoyed creating their own mini animations. Below is a short collection of some of the animations that have been created this year. Enjoy!
