Despite AP's January deadline, all SDUSD AP educators for the school year must be AP Audit approved no later than August 31 for UC purposes.  

If you are a returning teacher, your admin should be able to approve a renewal with no action required by you.  If you are new to the school or course, you will need to complete the AP Audit and here are detailed instructions.

AP Classroom - Get all your students enrolled in AP Classroom regardless of their current decision about the exam....it is preloaded with great resources and if they choose to test, it is the only way we can order their exam.

Ask your scholars with IEP/504 plan to ask their case manager about testing accommodations.

If scholars want to request reduced exam fees, they need to complete a short form and the LCFF in Parent PowerSchool.  They will be emailed next steps within a week after completing the form.

Remind students to pay for their exams before the above deadlines to avoid late fees.

If students have conflicts with the standard exam date, they can request a late exam date.  Note that late dates may be hosted by another school. 

Students can cancel their exams anytime and we definitely appreciate knowing who to expect on exam day.  If students paid full price, they will be eligible for a partial refund until March 1 (AP will keep $40.)

AP Scholars can still purchase an AP exam but now there is a super late fee AND they can only test on the late date.

Very strongly recommend hosting study sessions and/or mock exams.  Sites should be able to use Saturday School funds to pay educators for their time.

Proctors are always needed and imagine how comforting for scholars to see you in their exam room!  Educators can help with any exam that isn't in their discipline (ex: English proctor Science...Math proctor History...Arts proctor World Languages...) 

If scholars miss their exam day and still intend to test, they MUST request a late date.  Otherwise, we will mark the exam as unused and they will not have a chance to retest.

Score reports are released online in early July.  Scholars will login to AP Classroom to see their scores.  Teachers should be able to see their students' scores.  If you cannot access, email us.

AP Community is a space to connect with other AP educators in your subject.  You can request to join through your AP account.

Most AP subjects also have a Facebook group that is usually the best/fastest way to get info.  You have to request to join from your own Facebook account.
