CPMA Magnet Middle School will be a nurturing, safe, and professional environment that supports the educational success and social, emotional, and physical development of all students. Courses will be artistic, academic, engaging, and standards-based, with a focus on the learner. All school staff will be highly qualified and caring instructors who work to establish relationships and are attentive to the educational, cultural and physical needs of students and the CPMA community. Students who leave CPMA will be life-long learners who use critical thinking skills to communicate effectively and successfully navigate the many challenges the world has to offer.

Are we a private school?
No. We are a public magnet school with the San Diego Unified School District. Also meaning it doesn't cost to come to CPMA!
Do you provide busing/transportation?
The answer is yes, and the best part is that it is free. You must be living at an address that qualifies you for transportation. PLEASE NOTE: not every student will qualify for transportation due to where our buses are scheduled to pick up our students and limitation on space.
Due to COVID-19, bussing is still being determined. We do not have all the answers as of yet about transportation for the 2022-21 School Year. Once we do, we will make sure to update this information. Thanks for your patience.
