With 28 years of experience in the San Diego Unified School District, she has served as a teacher, principal, and educational leader. Michelle earned her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Secondary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She then pursued a Master's Degree in Spanish Linguistics at the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, Michelle obtained her administrative credential from the School of Leadership and Educational Sciences (SOLES) at the University of San Diego.
