Making things smart doesn't mean you are 📸 Or does it !!
Who knows🥳
PS.YOU DO.
This week was all about learning the basics of coding and Arduino's.The main assignment was to Program an Arduino UNO to read a signal from a single input component, So for my assignment I thought of trying something related to my final project as a part of the project was to use the 7 segment as a clock to till time.
So I decided to contronl the 7 segment with a potentiometer and I use google search as a source of inspiration.

The software that I used:
Tinkercad ,To create the circuits and simulate it before making it physically.
The physical component that I used:
Jumpers.
7 segment Common Cathode.
1 k ohm Potentiometer.
8 resistors 220 ohm.
Arduino UNO.
After creating the circuit I used code blocks to coding my 7 segment.
I started by using TINKERCAD program to simulate my circuit , as I opened the Tinkercad and Sketched the parts of the design on it ,after finishing the sketch process , I simulated the circuit to make sure it works.
I used Esraa Rageh week6 assighmet as a reference for my work cause it simillar to mine. Maker Diploma Fellow .
Also, I used our mid week lecture as a reference to create my 7 segment.
After the simulation, I collected all the parts which I will use to make the circuit device.
I joined and assembled the parts of the design together to show the final design of the project on the breadboard.
After making sure that all circuits work,I connected the Arduino to My PC ,Opened Arduino IDE, Uploaded the Programming code to The Arduino Micro Controller and Start powering.

Mohamed Abdul-Fattah , Marwaaa Sobhi and I were absent last Saturday due to personal commitment, so we request attending online via google meet and our instructors approve it. They helped as to engage with the offline section as much as they can.
We work togther as a small online team to create the weekly activity, and it helps to understand Urdiona and how it works in much more details.
It was hard to undestand how to code Arduino and it still, but I'm trying my best to learn. This week I watch Tinkercad online tutorul in order to improve my limited knowlage about Arduino.
In this week I learned how to design, Program, and make an Arduino read signal from input component like sensor, switch...etc to control action component using Code Blocks. So I believe this will help me making my clcok smart.
