This photo from internet was my source of inspiration.
This week assignment was to Design, simulate, and build a simple electronic device that performs two actions at the same time.
My idea was to make a simple light box with multiple color on it, then I decided to add 5 volt fan inside the box after I read this article . Enclosed light bulb Also, I added a sound buzzer to emits sound when the light goes on.
In order to make the box more flexible and user friendly I added on /off switch to it.
The software that I used was Tinkercad ,To create the circuits and simulate it before making it physically.
The component that I used :
Jumpers.
Adaptor DC Jack.
5v power adapter.
Potentiometer.
piezo Buzzer.
on/off switch.
5 LED light with white, red ,green and yellow color.
A Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switch.
5 Resistors for the Led light with 220ohm.
Breadboard.
Crocodile jacks.
Plastic box and paper tape to complete the non electronic part.
I started by using TINKERCAD program to simulate my circuit , as I opened the Tinkercad
and Sketched the parts of the design on it ,after finishing the sketch process , I simulated the circuit to make sure it works.
In order to make sure that the 5v power adapter will make the lights, fan and the Buzzer works, I searched online on their voltage and rewatch this video on how to power two component in parallel.

After the simulation, I collected all the parts which I will use to make the circuit device.
I joined and assembled the parts of the design together to show the final design of the project on the breadboard.
After making sure that all circuits work,I used a simple plastic box and a paper tape to place the fan and breadboard into the box ,and finally I have my lovely lighting box with so annoying Buzzer sound ):

In this week I asked for help regarding the circuits ;specially seven segment and H-bridge. Through the week and on saturday optional section ,I developed a good understanding while watching and helping my peers out.
I had been facing a big difficulties in understanding circits and how it works, my group instructor was a great assist as he helped me as much as he can .Also, I almost make my brother crazy by so much questions that I asked ,but he was a great help.
He advice me to know more about the electricity principles from the very basic beginning by watching video1 ,video2 ,video3 and I was forced to understand, as he refuse to leave me till I did.
By his guidance I was able to convert my idea into reality, as I wasn't sure how to make the on/off switch works,so he helped me to understand the concept of it, and leaves me for almost one and half hour of trying till I did it.
It turn out that I have to make the negative power source conected to one of the on/ of switch legs ;while the other have to be connected to the negative side of the breadboard, and the positive power source has to have be connected to the positive breadboard side.
Also I read Motion Sensors article and watched parallel connections viedo.
Creating electric circuit will have a great assist on developing the final project idea and implementations.
In this week lecture, we made another lovely car with a another amazing makers.
This Saturday HACKATHON was very cool experience, as I worked with these lovely , brilliant and amazing people in order to create this doopy doopy doo:)
Ps. I somehow Have get used to this lovely, experimental, funny and "يا حوستااااااي" land , so big big Thanksssss to all of you "-".
