Week #5- Journal
Electric circuits
Ideation
Tell us about your assignment's idea for this week. Why do you care about this idea? What inspired you? (Please include images or links to sources of inspiration)
I choose to try creating the Buzz game to enjoy playing it with my brother and I going to develop it next weeks.
Tool Chain
Which software/machines/materials did you use in the assignment? Why?
Tinkercad sofware
this week I used tinkercad software to create and simulate electric circuits before bring it to the real world not to cause damage to my kit.
TOOLS
breadbord
to help connecting components with Minimum amount of wires
adaptor (Power source )
5v adaptor as power source as LED and Piezo needs not more than 5 v in parallel connection because piezo need 5v
and led needs 3v we but resistor with it in serial connection.
on/Off switch
on/off the product using it
resistors 220 OHM
LEDs need resistors as it need 1.8-2.2v while the power source is 5v
LED light 3v
to make some light effect
buzzer 5v
to make some noise
an old cord
to make the hook and the wire maze
Jumper wires
to connect components to each other
female Jack
an inlet to the power source
Design/Preparation Process
Explain the design and/or preparation process of your assignment. How did you use the tool or software to design and/or prepare your assignment before fabrication/implementation?
Circuit gets complicated step by step!
I begin to design the circuit step by step on tinkercad. first, I tried to connect the LED to Piezo and simulate it.
then I added a pushbutton on tinkercad to simulate hock and wire attached on the game .
the connection
the connection between the LED and the Piezo is parallel connection to distribute the voltage and The current is amplified to supply the circuit with the appropriate electrical current
because if the connection was series it will be no enough current to piezo to work and curcuit need
the power source
5v adaptor as power source as LED and Piezo needs not more than 5 v in parallel connection because piezo need 5v and led needs 3v we but resistor with it in serial connection.

Development/Implementation Process
Explain the development/implementation process of your assignment. How did you use the machine/tool to manufacture or implement the design of your assignment?
1-create circuit design and testing
collect components from my kit and connect them as on tinkercad then test it ..... yasssss it works finally!!!
I have to try several times to attach the end of the game Hook and wire to make it works it was hard time.
2- making the Game body
________________to make it user friendly
After collecting some cardboard, an old cord, wax gun, pencil, ruler and cutter.
I start by cutting sides from cardboard material, opening holes for LED, on-off switch, power inlet, and Buzzer hole then test it as every component in its place in the body. After that I start to join all parts together with a glue Gun.
3-play
Attach the Game to 5v adaptor as LED and Piezo needs 5 v in parallel connection.
and enjoy it.
Overcoming Challenges
What kinds of challenges or problems did you face while doing the assignment, tutorials, or exercises? How did you solve them? Did you ask for help from an instructor or peer? Please provide a link to the tutorial or article that you used to solve your problem (if any)
it was a difficult week I face many problems in understand electricity so I have to study it from different source:
https://www.switchelectronics.co.uk/blog/post/switchguide.html
I made a paper PDF to be a reference to me.
and it takes me a lot of time to get familiar to this week .
I face a problem in the assignment circuit on tincercad so
Amany 😍send my a video explain the solution
Final Project
How can you use the skills and knowledge that you've acquired this week in your final project?
This week I used:
I collect a great knowledge at eclectic circuits that is gong to help me Definity in the final project.
in this week task I choose a game have the same components of my final project.
WOW!
What is the coolest thing that you've learned this week? What is something that you will never forget from this week?
