Final Project Proposal

DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PILLS!!

1- Tell us about the purpose of your project. Which problem does it solve? Why do you care about this? What were you inspired by? Include images and videos of similar projects

Pill reminder product

I get inspired by mom who has a lot of pills every day some times she forget to take her medicine so I thought it is an good idea to design a product reminds her with her medicine time

scenarios

  1. patient puts his medicine on rooms.

  2. set alarm to each room at the time he want to take his pills.

  3. when it is the time the product makes some noise and lights on to grab attention.

  4. patient takes his medicine in time.

4- Describe the Technical Modules that your project consists of

Construction Parts

the main body consist of two parts
the
first part 4 rooms for medicine stuff and second part for electric components (Arduino, LEDs, LCD, Keypad, Buzzers..etc.)

Input

(Sensing, Tactile Input, and/or Graphical Input)

  • keypad

  • IR sensor

  • on/off switch

  • 2 red and green pushbutton

Action

(Physical and/or Graphic)

  • RTC module

  • LCD

  • 5 LEDs

  • Buzzers

6 Categorize your project’s User Features into: Minimum, Complete, and Nice-to-have features. List the required action and input components per feature.

  • Minimum Features: are the least amount of features that would demonstrate the coverage of all the technical modules and their complete integration

  • Complete Features: are the set of features that will complete your original project objective and vision

  • Nice-to-have Features: are the extra set of features that will make the project cooler, yet they need extra time, effort, and/or resources to finish

Minimum User Features

  1. User can set time to one room in the product to his medicine

    • Action: using keypad and LCD and RTC

    • Sensing: none

    • User Input: keypad

  2. the product grapes user attention at specified time.

    • Action: LED, LCD and Piezo

    • Sensing: none

    • User Input: none

Complete User Features

  1. User can set time to the 4 rooms in the product to his medicine.

    • Action: using keypad and LCD and RTC

    • Sensing: none

    • User Input: keypad

  2. way to off the alarm

    • Action: piezo, LCD and LED

    • Sensing: touch button

    • User Input: none

Nice-to-have User Features

  1. user can alter in each room time by reset, delete.

    • Action: using keypad and LCD and RTC

    • Sensing: none

    • User Input: keypad

  2. user can reset all the rooms time at once.

    • Action: pushbutton

    • Sensing: none

    • User Input: push reset button
