I spend some time to see various designs on Pinterest and saved the style i want as i am travelling so much nowadays
I want a phone holder to fit in back bag.
Compact design (has small size)
Amplify the sound
I want to explore the new software fusion 360 so I tried to make various objects to get familiar with the software and for self learning I use autodesk academy.
MOBILE HOLDER

I USES PINTEREST TO GET INSPIRED
I going to use laser cutting machine this week to make 2,5D mobile Holder design
I am going to use plywood for this task
I used fusion 360 to draw my design as its easy to use ,friendly interface and easy to modify the project on it .
I start with drawing front plane 2D with full dimension and make sure that drawings are in the correct direction using line and rectangle tools >>from create .
extrude the front 2.5D 3mm
repeat extrude of the last sketch and choose>> offset -55cm (the width of the holder) with 3mm distance
by choosing the side of the crated body I started new sketch for drawing side 2D with full dimension using line and rectangle tools >>from create and make sure of drawing T-slot correctly.
make extrude for the sketch 3mm distance then I realized that side in the wrong direction.
by using move tool I rotate the side 180 degree to make it on the correct direction
extrude cut T-slot from the side body.
using mirror >>XZ plane I created the other side.
by choosing the top of the created body (front body) I started new sketch for drawing the top part with full dimension using line and rectangle tools >>from create.
Extrude the sketch and choose>> object and select the bottom plane of the front body with 3mm distance to make the base.
using mirror >>XY plane I created the top.
create sketch by choosing the top plane of the last created body.
extrude cut the sketch
make new sketch by choosing the front body plane to make the extra part of the front body.
make extrude>> new body >>3mm distance
using mirror >>XZ plane I created the other part.
to make the screw hole
create sketch by choosing the top plane of the top body>> create>> project and choose all edges I wat it to be appeared on the top>>ok
Extrude cut >>-3mm distance
choose all bodies (pressing shift) >>right click>>make component from body
Adding Joints between components
I used as-built-joint
by choosing sketch of each side from the tree >> right click >>save as DXF file and nesting them into laserwork program and set the power, speed of the cutting process.
Laser Cut Process:
first of all lab specialist make sure of my file parameters:
cut
power: 65%
speed: 18%
then Inserted 3mm plywood sheet into the Morn MT3050D CO2 Laser Cutter machine
After coping the file to PC >>open the file on leaserwork programme >> download
on the machine we set origin, searching for the file name on machine screen>>press enter to start laser cutting.
After cutting I joined the parts together and added screws.
I face a problem to imagine T-slot Joint so I used Game Kit as a reference to help imagine how I can join the parts together so the final shape was look like the Game kit (boxy).
ِِAmany encouraged me to re-watch the videos and to use T-Slot PDF file to make sure of the dimensions
this week I get more familiar with laser cutting process now i can use it by myself without any help and this week developed my imagination of how parts will installed together T-Slot and Press Fit joints.
I also get more familiar with Fusion 360 software which iam going to use to create the final project body.
