The AVID seniors went to UC Davis to watch the Davis vs Hawaii basketball game. What made this trip extra special was it was also the UC Davis senior night.
This full circle moment ended with an AVID shout out and the home win from Davis.

The first stop of the trip was a student led tour of UC Santa Barbara where students learned about the multiple residence halls located on and off campus. They also described the clubs offered including the Sandwich club where the person who eats their sandwich the fastest becomes club president.

On November 29th, our class went to Sacramento State for a campus tour led by a Sacramento State senior. Then, students got time to explore the campus and eat lunch at one of the many eateries on campus.

Students toured the University of California, Merced with official student tour guides that spoke about their wonderful first-generation programs on campus. UC Merced offers 27 majors including Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, Law, and much more. After a tour of the campus, students participated in a Q&A panel where they got to ask their questions about the campus.
