The freshman AVID student of the quarter is Adamarys Reyes-Canseco. Her unwavering individual determination sets her apart—she consistently earns straight A's and approaches every challenge with focus and resilience. Whether she's leading by example during tutorial sessions or staying committed to her academic growth, Adamarys embodies what it means to be an AVID scholar. Her bright spirit, work ethic, and dedication to success inspire those around her. We are happy to have her as part of our AVID family.

The freshman student of the quarter for quarter 2 is Lilyanna Ayala. Lily embodies the true spirit of AVID through her unwavering dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to helping others succeed. Where Lily really shines is in tutorials where she is helpful, engaged, and focused. Her willingness to go above and beyond to help her classmates succeed exemplifies what it means to be an AVID scholar.

Lylah Perez is the freshman student of the quarter. Lylah is a dedicated student who always communicates with her teachers, completes her work to the best of her ability, and is unafraid to ask questions. She is also a gifted Volleyball athlete who has successfully managed the demanding schedule of being a student-athlete. When Lylah has an early release or has to miss my class, she always communicates ahead of time and gets her missing work turned in. She truly is determined to be successful and a wonderful AVID family member.
