This is my third year at SHS. Previously I taught 2nd grade (as many of you know), but I am excited to be teaching 4th grade this year.
A little about me:
I have a BA in Psychology from Williams College and a MA in Childhood Education from Manhattanville College. This is my 11th year teaching elementary school, and my goal is for all students to become passionate learners and responsible and respectful individuals. I want students to feel challenged, to take risks, and most importantly, to use a growth mindset.
Outside of school, I can be found spending time with my family: my husband, and my three children (Emery, Luke, and Izzy). We love to go on weekend adventures all over Northern California where we can hike, explore beaches, and try new restaurants. My hobbies include trail running, hiking, playing tennis, and cooking/baking.
I am looking forward to getting to know your kids even better as they have grown and matured so much since the 2nd grade!
